Our Story
How It All Started
Dr. Domenic Colabella has been practicing optometry since 1986. He owned Lens Factory Optometry in Glendale from 1993 to 2025. From 2005 to 2020, he also ran Sears Optical, extending his reach across the San Fernando Valley. After Sears closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he relocated to his current location at 11400 Victory Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
Lens Factory Optometry is intentionally small, which means Dr. Colabella knows his patients, his staff knows their names, and nothing gets lost in the shuffle. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry — one of the most respected programs in the country — and has spent his entire career serving the greater Los Angeles area.
